I left teaching after a serious post-Covid burnout. I went to manage a concert series and waterfront venue. This was another fun run while it lasted! The venue is now closed, so all socials and website are no longer. From corporate events, to private birthday parties, to celebrations of life, to live concerts on the lake, this was a unique experience. Definitely a 180 from the classroom. However, the event run of show is not far off from the classroom run of show you need to teach a class 5x/day 5 days a week! Located inside Cherry Creek State Park, this place had a pub, a marina, concessionaires (paddleboarding, sailboats, etc.), and more. These are photos from my phone, but are definitely accurate to the Pelican Bay Experience.
